Toronto - Vermont “Jay Peak Resort”
Depart from Toronto in the morning, pass by Kingston, Thousand Island Area. After lunch then pass through US Custom and enter New England Region of USA, the famous vacation place in USA, Vermont State. The name of the state is derived from French which means “for green” mountain, giving rise to the state’s “Green Mountain State” nickname. Today, Vermont’s mountains are a popular destination for beautiful maple scenic and it is the country’s leading producer of maple. Once arrived at Jay Peak Resort, passengers can enjoy the tram ride (fee applied) to the peak. It also has plenty of choice for restaurant options for dinner.
Jay Peak Resort - MT. Washington Cog Railway * - Flume Gorge
Depart from the resort in morning, go directly to the Cog Railway station for train ride (fee applied). The Mount Washington Cog Railway is a narrated 3-Hour-Round Trip train ride to the summit of Mount Washington on a historic and awe-inspiring railway. When you ride the Railway, you’re in for an unforgettable adventure. Magnificent scenery, efficient new biodiesel locomotives and the classic steam engines combined with a spectacular climb up the highest mountain in the Northeast provide the voyage of a lifetime. Then will head to the Flume Gorge after lunch. Passenger can stroll along the trail in the park and take a short break surround by beautiful foliage scene. If time permitted, Loon Mountain Gondola ride (fee applied) will be a good choice to view the maple leaves again.
In the morning, passengers will take the coach back to Toronto. Pass by the small town in the border. Passengers can see the famous Haskell Free Library. The heritage building was built in 1904 and is the only library in the world to straddle a border, between the towns of Derby Line, Vt., and Stanstead, Que. There is a black line on the library floor marking the divide. Passengers will arrive Toronto in the evening.
