Day 1 Home city - Tel Aviv
Depart from home city, overnight flight to Tel Aviv
Day 2 Tel Aviv B L D
Breakfast on board, upon arrival, coach to pick up group from airport and brief city tour of Tel Aviv, after dinner, rest overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Tel Aviv - Caesarea - Megiddo - Haifa - Acre - Tiberias B L D
Breakfast at hotel, coach to head along the Holy land Pilgrimage tour in Israel. Drive along the coast to Caesarea, a historical port city and capital of Judea under the Romans. Visit the ancient city’s excavations, including the Roman Theatre and the Aqueduct. Afterwards, continue on to Megiddo, the site of Armageddon, where you can view many archaeological excavations, including a well-preserved water supply system. After lunch proceeds to next stop Haifa, where you will make a stop at the Baha’I Shrine. Stroll in the lovely Persian Gardens under the golden dome of the shrine. Your last stop of the day is at Acre, where you will be awed by the ancient city and harbor. Dinner at Tiberias, overnight at Tiberias Hotel.
Day 4 Tiberias - Mt. Beatitudes - Tabgha - Capharnaum - Tiberias B L D
Breakfast at hotel, then coach to Mt. Beatitudes; the legendary place where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Afterwards, proceed to Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of five loaves and two fishes, and see the Church of the Multiplication with its attractive 4th century mosaic floor. Continue to Capharnaum; visit the remains of the celebrated 2nd century synagogue. Then take a boat ride on the Lake Galilee. After dinner, overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Tiberias - Nazareth - Yardenit - Beit Shean - Jerusalem B L D
Breakfast at hotel, then drive to start the day with a journey to Nazareth, passing through Cana of Galilee. In Nazareth, visit the revered Church of the Annunciation, Joseph’s Workshop and Mary’s Well. Afterwards, drive on to Yardenit, a scared baptism site where the Jordan River leaves the Sea of Galilee. Continue to Beit Shean, a newly excavated city and visit the Roman amphitheatre. Finish your day with a beautiful drive along the Jordan River to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight at Jerusalem.
Day 6 Jerusalem - Temple Mount - Wailing Wall - King David’s Tomb - Upper room - Hezekiah’s Tunnel - Church of All Nations B L D
Breakfast at hotel, proceed to city tour in Jerusalem. Drive to the Temple Mount to enjoy a remarkable view of El Aqsa Mosue and Dome of the Rock. On the way into the city We will stop at Wailing Wall, and then transfer to Mount Zion, you will view the site of King David’s Tomb and the Upper Room revered as the site of the Last Supper. Afterwards, travel to the City of David, walking through Hezekiah’s Tunnel (1700 feet long) where terminated at Pool of Shiloah. Then retrace the events in the final tours of Jesus’s life as you follow the Way of the Cross (Via Dolorosa). Our day continues as we ascend Mt. Olives to visit the Chapel of the Ascension, before a short visit to the Church of All Nations, we walk downhill to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed for God’s will to be done.
Day 7 Jerusalem - Bethlehem - Israel Museum B L D
Breakfast at hotel, then travel to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity (Subject to availability) and then proceed to Yad Vashem, the holocaust memorial centre. Visit the Israel museum, where you can enjoy fascinating exhibits including the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed, and a 2000 square meter model of Jerusalem in the Second Temple period. After dinner, transfer to hotel for overnight.
Day 8 Jerusalem - Jericho - Qumran - Dead Sea - Masada - Jerusalem B L D
After breakfast, transfer to Jericho, visit the ruins of this world’s oldest city which was conquered by Joshua. Jesus healed blind Bartimaeus and Zacchaeus, a tax collector, converted in Jericho. Further take a trip to Qumran, the ancient city where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Continue along the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, to see the fortress at Masada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 AD. Ascend Masada by cable car and visit the storerooms, water irrigation system and Herod’s Palace. After that, back to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 9 Jerusalem - Tel Aviv - Home city B
After breakfast, transfer to Ben Gurion Airport and return to home city.
